Itinerary

Day 1: Cairo ➝ Bahariya Oasis ➝ Black & White Desert Camping

Your adventure begins early in the morning with a private pickup from your hotel in Cairo. We’ll drive approximately 5 hours (around 370 km) to the tranquil Bahariya Oasis, a lush, palm-filled haven in the heart of the Western Desert.

Upon arrival, enjoy a freshly prepared lunch in a local setting. After a short rest, your 4×4 safari jeep will be ready to take you off the beaten track and into the stunning desert landscapes.

Our journey includes:

•The Black Desert – known for its volcanic hills and dark sand formations.

•El Hez Village & the Cold Spring – a charming village oasis with refreshing natural water.

•Crystal Mountain – a natural marvel with glittering quartz crystals embedded in the rocks.

•Aqabat (Agabat) Valley – one of the most beautiful parts of the White Desert, famous for surreal rock formations and sand dunes.

As we drive deeper, we enter the Old White Desert, characterized by unique rock formations shaped like mushrooms and tents. We then continue to the New White Desert, where nature has sculpted limestone into otherworldly shapes resembling animals, ghosts, and giant figures.

We’ll find a peaceful and scenic spot to set up our camp for the night. Enjoy a traditional Bedouin-style dinner, relax by the fire, sip tea under a canopy of stars, and sleep in the serenity of the desert.

Day 2: White Desert ➝ Bahariya Oasis ➝ Return to Cairo

Wake up to the magic of the desert at sunrise and enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast.

If there’s any part of the desert we didn’t have time to explore on the first day, we’ll take a final drive to visit it before heading back toward Bahariya Oasis. From there, your private vehicle will be waiting to transfer you comfortably back to Cairo.
